Hello Sackboys and Sackgirls! Happily gadding about are you?
Well, today I have lots of great news to make that gadding of yours even more happy!
Topic 1 – Milestone - We shall start off with a wonderful new milestone achieved by… You! The Community! You have helped the community reach over 4 million levels! Apparently, if you played LBP solidly for 12 hours a day, and each level was 5 minutes, It would take you more than 78 years to play through all of them! That’s a heck of a lot of LBP! Here is a message from the guys and gals over at Media Molecule: “For us the most exciting thing has always been seeing what the community does with LittleBigPlanet when they get their hands on the new features and tools. We are constantly delighted and amazed at their ingenuity and creativity, and it’s so inspiring to see the level of affection that exists among LittleBigPlanet around the world.” So, well done to everyone of you who has put a level on the community!
Topic 2 – Costumes – We all love dressing our sacks in new clothing and then testing it out. Like taking a new car for a ride. Well more excellent outfits are coming to your LBP wardrobe soon. Firstly, we have the Tron Evolution Minipack which will be released on the 27th of April for £2.39/$2.99. Not only will you get the costumes, but also some stickers! Pretty neat!
But my favourite is the Killzone 3 Minipack coming sometime in May (actual date unknown). These are the most badass cosutmes on LBP in my opinion. Who’d have thought Helghan could be so cute?
Topic 3 – Patching It Up – The next time you go on LBP (or you may have already) you will come across a game update. Don’t worry, it doesn’t take long! It is called V1.03 AKA Battenburg. This fixes a bug with the Music Sequencer, meaning it will no longer skip the first few notes when activated by logic. It has also fixed an issue where players are disconnected to the host during a loading screen. And there have been a couple of other minor (and maybe even un-noticeable) changes. First one, the usability testing team have now been added to the game credits and secondly, the cog princess hat and dress are now separate pieces of clothing. Oh glorious patches.
Topic 4 – Dynamic Theme – There is now an awesome new dynamic theme for your PlayStation which you can download from the PlayStation Store. It’s called Eyelevator, which costs £2.39. It is part of a new project called The Studio, find out more about it here: http://uk.playstation.com/thestudio/
