The wait for the Beta is almost over it seems.

“We need some help testing out LittleBigPlanet 2, and we have selected some of you to come along and join in the fun. If you have been selected, for a few weeks you’ll be able to Play, Create and Share yourself silly in our greatest handmade adventure to date – all before anyone else sees it!”

And…

“We will be sending out invitations to the LittleBigPlanet 2 beta during this week to users who’ve been really active in LittleBigPlanet (PS3™). So if you have been a busy Sackboy™ or girl then an invite might be coming your way. This decision has now been made; unfortunately we are not able to recruit any further Beta Testers at present.”

So keep an eye out on your emails and if you’re totally paranoid and need to know if the emails are out without checking your email, then come back here, I’ll update with LBP2 Beta is Here in the title when it’s known that they are out ;)

    I am basically obsessed with LittleBIGPlanet and just found out one of my friends from Home in the Uk has their LBP 2 Beta code. Was really upset when I found this out cos I haven’t received one and he doesn’t play lbp at all!

    Yea, unfortunately it’s not an entirely perfect/fair system. The point is though that they need people to test the game, not demo it, so it doesn’t have to be a 100% fair process for them to achieve what they want from it.

    Maybe try to contact them again. I heard if you were literally told or aware that you were getting a beta code that you should tell them you didn’t get it. Hope that helps.

    LBP2 beta is only avalabe for adults. Which is stupid because its a KIDS game! Besides, my dad is a pureblod GTA-tard and he NEVER plays LBP1, Meaning I cant go on beta just because I have one year behind the needed age. -_-

    I have Hyper Sensitivia (or Hyper Sensitivity) and LBP is one of my favorite games for many reasons, the point of this comment is that when i learned about LBP, i got realy exited, and because of my Hyper Sensitivia any emotions i fell are extreme, if any. I have been doing everything i can to get beta, i think i have joined about every LBP fansite, search everywhere for a giveaway, entered thosands of random codes, and ive had my PS3 on with LBP on almost all day everyday, playing it, trying to get LBP2 beta. It seems nomatter what i do i cant get it, and im almost thinking about suicide. i know it seems stupid to kill yourself over a game, but i want it so badly i shake evreytime i think about it. so, please, i need beta :’<

    That’s just the image that shows up when you have the beta client selected in the XMB. It’s not actually a wallpaper. Although, if you just click the image above, you’ll get the full sized version, you could save it and bring it into your photos and set it as a wallpaper ;)
