Hey Guys!  It’s exciting times to be sure.  With LittleBigPlanet 2 coming out today for North America and shortly thereafter for the rest of the world, LittleBigPlanet is about to get a whole lot bigger.  Usually sequels are bigger, better and in this case, busting at the seems with more to play, create and share than ever.  As you all get your hands on LBP2, you will find that things have changed quite a bit in regards to creating.  There are a plethora of tools at your disposal, logic to understand and exploit and just a whole crazy bunch of awesomeness to help you in creating the best games possible.  As a result of being given these powerful tools you will no doubt have questions regardless if you’re a seasoned creator in LBP1 or not.  So I’m proud to introduce to you, S.T.A.R.S.!  A new sub-domain of LittleBigPlanetGalaxy.com.  http://stars.littlebigplanetgalaxy.com

So what is this all about.  Well it’s pretty self explanatory.  It’s just like it says in the banner.  STARS is a Simple Topic & Answer Registry System.  Surely you’ve heard of Ask.com or Yahoo Answers.  Well it’s like that, except all for LittleBigPlanet.  It’s quite simple.  Being brand new and still smelling of that fresh printed paper smell that we love so much (Oh, wait, that’s just me), the site is just in it’s infancy and a little bare at the moment.  But EatMyDst, Gregorythegamer and myself have filled in some content to get things going.

Let me break it down.

  • You have a question about LBP, LBP PSP, LBP2, or just a general question related to the PS3.
  • You visit STARS and register
  • You submit your question
  • While your there, you view unanswered questions and answer any questions you might have the answer for.
  • You view answers to other questions submitted and vote (+ or -) whether or not you think the answer was helpful or not.
  • When an answer is deemed correct by the author they can mark it as such and it will be highlight in bright green, making all the easier to go directly to the correct response to your questions.

Over time STARS will become a one stop Q&A site for finding answers to your questions in a quick and efficient way.  Eventually it will be a resource like no other on the web, saving you the hassle of searching the web or through endless forums.  So check it out!
