So as most of you would know, we had a crown contest up for the past two months, celebrating LBP2′s release! Also celebrated: Genres! We wanted to see if you could come up with something completely new (no small feat) or mash up known genres into something that feels brand new.
Well I’m glad to announce that Sk8r_St3v3 has answered that call with Pinket Ball. This competitive game mixes up a bunch of different elements, mainly pinball and basketball with an epic 3rd round shooter defense bonus! Cstrfrk and I had fun playing it the first time and just had more and more fun once we returned to it as a finalist! Seems every time you play it you realize there is a new aspect to it you hadn’t noticed. And that’s exactly what we were looking for, something fresh and inspired… and loads of fun!
Congratulations to Sk8r_St3v3 for winning himself a Rare Prize Crown to proudly wear as he hopefully creates awesome new levels in our beloved Craftworld!
