Ok, so I know this site is all about LBP but every so often there are other games worth mentioning that I’m pretty psyched about. Hence the creation of “Other PS3 Exclusives” button at the top there.
God of War III is just one of those titles that I’ve been keeping an eye on. Recently I bought the Blu-Ray edition of District 9 and to my excitement, it included a GOW III demo! I’ve played the demo and it was classic GOW wonderfulness, except more gory, pretty and well…stunning. I just read an article discussing the tech behind the demo and it truly is amazing what they’ve done with this game. For cryin’ out loud, they’ve got terms referring just to the gashed and guts that spill out when killing certain enemies. I have to say when I killed the Centaur in the demo I had a moment of “EEwwwww, oh my….COOOOL!”. I remember at that moment thinking, wow this is stuff you just don’t see being done like this. Anyway, as the release of this soon to be classic game rounds the bend, they’re starting to release more info to fuel the hype machine even more.
