Here’s a few short vids of quick tunes made with the sequencer @ PAX. It’s nice to see a full beat made with sequencer… Seriously, we’re going to have so much more music variety now in LBP 2!

Ever since the announcement of LBP2, KAPBAM and I have been experimenting with incorporating a completely new layout to the site.  It’s rather difficult to redesign something while the site continues to be ‘live’.  But we found a way of designing this new, cleaner, more ‘connected’ site behind the scenes right under your noses   You’ll hopefully find this new design more pleasing to the eye as well as easier to interact with and find your way around.  Things have just begun with the core update complete.  There are other new features being planned by KAPBAM and myself, so stay tuned and hope you enjoy the new look!

Also, don’t be afraid to let us know if you notice any glitches or problems with the new layout.  While we have tested the new design in various browsers, it’s close to impossible to know for sure how it might look for you.  That’s the wonders of the internet.

I’ve updated the “Green Dude” theme (now version 1.2) in order to celebrate the redesign of the site (and our new twitter account)!

Install Instructions

Downloading with PS3 Browser (preferred)

1. Open web browser from XMB.

2. Navigate to “http://www.littlebigplanetgalaxy.com” & Click the “Downloads” button at the top of the site to quickly find this post.

3. Hover cursor over Click Here To Download Now! text and Click ‘Triangle’ on your controller.

4. In the menu, scroll down to ‘File’, then ‘Save Target’. The theme will be downloaded and automatically installed.

6. In the XMB go to “Settings”, then “Theme Settings” and “Theme”.

7. “LBP2 Green Dude v1.2″ will be in the list, click on it and then apply.

Downloading with PC or MAC

1. Click on Click Here To Download Now!

2. Press “Save File”.

3. Save to a USB Device.

4a. Make a folder in the Device and name it PS3 (ALL CAPS REQUIRED)

4b. Make a folder in the PS3 folder and name it THEME (ALL CAPS REQUIRED)

5. Put the downloaded theme (.p3t) file into the THEME folder.

6. Insert the USB Device into your PS3.

7. In the XMB go to “Settings”, then “Theme Settings” and “Theme”.

8. Select “Install”.

9. Select the USB Device, then “LBP2 Green Dude v1.2″.

10. Finally, “LBP2 Green Dude v1.2″ will now be in the theme list, click on it and then “Apply”.

Really? You need a reason to watch this? It’s so Epic you have no idea. Your brain will rot into a viscus pulp and force you to scream “EPIC” at the top of your lungs… Such is the power of KB.
